1. Scope
(1) Placing an order through the online shop at mirexo.com brings these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") into play, forming an agreement between the operator running mirexo.com (called "MIREXO", "we", "us" throughout) and whoever's ordering ("you", "Customer"). Our catalogue sits on the website and gets revised now and then.
(2) A consumer, for these Terms, means anyone buying largely outside a trade, business or profession. A trade customer means anyone — an individual, a company, or a legally capable partnership — acting within a trade, business or profession when the contract comes into being.
(3) If the Customer suggests terms that clash with, differ from, or add to these Terms, such terms only take effect where we've agreed to them expressly and in writing.

3. Conclusion of Contract
(1) Featuring goods in the online shop isn't a binding offer on our part — it simply invites you, without obligation, to browse and place an order.
(2) By pressing "Buy" / "Place order" / "Pay now", you're putting forward a binding offer to purchase whatever's in your basket.
(3) We acknowledge and accept your order together, via an automated email dispatched immediately after submission. That confirmation email is what makes the contract legally binding.
(4) The contract text is kept on record and sent to you by email, alongside these Terms. The current version of these Terms is viewable any time at mirexo.com/terms-of-service.
(5) Every contract is concluded in English.
4. Prices and Shipping Costs
(1) Prices on the website already factor in the applicable VAT rate. Any further shipping or delivery charges appear separately during checkout.
(2) Where goods head outside the European Union and the United Kingdom, further customs duties, taxes or other charges may apply, which the Customer must cover.

5. Payment Terms
(1) You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. We reserve the right to leave out particular payment methods in individual cases.
(2) The purchase price becomes due once the contract is concluded.
(3) Where payment is by credit card or PayPal, the relevant account is charged the moment your order is complete.
6. Delivery
(1) Goods go to the delivery address the Customer has supplied. Estimated delivery windows are shown clearly on the product page and again at checkout.
(2) Where three delivery attempts still fail, we're entitled to withdraw from the contract, and any sums already paid will be refunded promptly.
(3) Where delays result from force majeure, the delivery window is extended accordingly, and we'll notify you without unreasonable delay.
7. Retention of Title
Goods dispatched to you remain ours until payment has reached us in full.
8. Right of Cancellation for Consumers

9. Warranty and Liability for Defects
(1) Statutory rules on liability for defects apply. Consumers can bring a claim over a defect within two years of delivery.
(2) For second-hand goods, this window shortens to one year from delivery.
(3) Where an item you've received turns out defective, please get in touch at contact@mirexo.com.
10. Liability
(1) Our liability is unlimited in cases involving intent or gross negligence, and wherever consumer protection law requires.
(2) With ordinary negligence, our liability is confined to breach of a material contractual obligation — one whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible, and on which the Customer can reasonably rely. In such cases, liability is capped at the loss that was foreseeable and typical of a contract of this kind.
(3) None of the above restricts our liability for injury to life, body or health.
11. Dispute Resolution
(1) The European Commission operates an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform, accessible at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
(2) We're under no duty to, and don't intend to, take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
(1) This contractual relationship is governed exclusively by the law of England and Wales, with the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods excluded. Where the Customer is a consumer, this choice of law applies only so far as it doesn't take away protection granted by mandatory rules of the law of their habitual place of residence.
(2) Where the Customer is a merchant, a public-law legal entity, or a public-law special fund, the courts local to our registered office hold exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from this relationship.
13. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these Terms prove invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force unaffected. Any invalid provision is replaced by the corresponding statutory rule.
